Pitch to be ready for April 2011
The recent €1/4 Million investment into the club to increase it’s facilities in order to accommodate the unequalled fixtures offered to its mini and youth members over recent times. Allied to the New pitch development the club has undertaken to do some drainage work in the Latchford’s Training/Mini playing area.

As seen by the pictures above all this investment has seen the green shoots of renewal in the new pitch which will be one of the best in Munster. Everything is on time to have this new pitch available for April next year. If we are to match the successes of this year we might even be able to play the J1 League final on it and this time start with a victory trend that Thomond Park would be proud of!

From Ground Breaking to Shoots of Renewal
It was at the end of the 2008-2009 season that we lost the use of our third pitch. Though there was still lots of negotiations to proceed in getting the funding in place and work would not commence for a while the pitch was sprayed to clear it of weeds in preparation for the big job. Here are some of the pictures of the process, pain and sacrifice that has seen the creation of what will probably be one of the best pitches in Munster. Roll on April 2011 when we get back to playing in this area!
