Kerry Co Council accorded its highest honour to
Siobhan Fleming today when Mayor Terry O’Brien and his councillors held a Civic
Reception at Aras Chonntae to acknowledge Siobhan’s contribution as an Irish
Rugby International to Ireland Women’s historic Grand Slam victory this year.There to support Siobhan, and bask in her achievement,
were members of her extended family and she was very quick to acknowledge the
love and support she received from each of them to help her achieve her
success. When replying to Mayor Terry O’Brien, who spoke
glowingly of her achievement, Siobhan also acknowledged the contribution of her
coaches Paul McMahon and Mike Keane and also singled out the support she
received in training from her friend and rugby colleague Riona Kennedy. The award was a fitting one and well deserved.

Irish women's sevens win the plate in China, ranking them 10th overall in the world sevens series - great achievement for such a new squad to the sevens game.
Well done to Christine Arthurs from Tralee wearing the No8 Irish Jersey - doing club and country proud again.

| This week Ladies Captain and Ireland International Siobhan Fleming was presented with a year's membership of the BTS Fitness Studio by its founding owner Niall Hobbert and on Thursday she will be launching the new look Toyota Rav 4 at Kellihers Garage Rathass. |
Tim Kelliher of Kellihers has issued an open invitation to attend the launch which will take place at 6:30pm Thursday March 14th, where refreshments will be served.

Saturday saw another proud day for Tralee RFC when
our Ladies Squad Captain Siobhan Fleming lined out at No 6 for Ireland at
Ashbourne RFC, Co. Meath, when the home side deservedly emerged winners on a
scoreline of 25 to Nil.
Siobhan had a great game and played the full 80
minutes which was a testament to her performance.
Tralee was well represented on the sideline with Riona
Kennedy, Shauna Lynch, Laura O’Mahony, Siobhan Barrett, Christine Arthurs,
Ciara Griffin, Niamh Dempsey, Paul McMahon, Mike Keane and David Condon
cheering on our “Flaming” star.
